| Sinopsis: | Teniendo como marco el vigésimo quinto aniversario de la Marcha del Orgullo LGBT en México, diversos personajes y organizaciones de la comunidad hablan no sólo de la trascendencia de este evento, sino del impacto social y la significación que tiene al interior de la agrupación LGBT. |
| Synopsis: | Having as its context the 25th anniversary of the Gay Pride March in Mexico, several individuals and organizations of the LGBT community talk not only about the event’s transcendence, but also about the social impact and the meaning it has for the LGBT community itself. |
| Biografía: | Alex Zuno: 1982, Ciudad de México. En el 2000 fue becado por el Istituto Italiano di Cultura para realizar estudios de Letras y Lengua italiana Florencia, Italia. Entre 2001 y 2002, realizó estudios de fotografía en la Escuela Activa de Fotografía; luego, formó parte en diversas exposiciones fotográficas en varios recintos culturales de la ciudad de Cinematográficos de la UNAM. Allí, Zuno inició su obra como realizador cinematográfico.
Su cortometraje Los ojos de Emilio ha sido exhibido en más de 15 ciudades de América y Europa. En el festival FRAMELINE 30: The San Franciso LGBT Film Festival catalogó a su corto como uno de los cuatro mejores cortos gay del año 2006. |
| Biography: | Alex Zuno: 1982, Mexico City. In 2000 he was awarded a scholarship from the Istituto Italiano di Culturato carry on studies in Italian Arts and Literature in Florence, Italy. Betwen 2001 and 2002 he studied photography at Escuela Activa de Fotografía, then he took part in various photography expositions in several cultural places in the filmmakers’ city of the UNAM. It was there where Zuno started his filmmaking career.
His short film “Los ojos de Emilio” was projected in more than 15 cities in America and Europe. In the FRAMELINE 30: The San Francisco LGBT Film Festival, his short film was regarded as one of the best four gay short films of 2006. |
