| Sinopsis: | Lucie, de 36, lleva ya cinco años con su pareja y quiere tener un bebé. El problema es que su pareja es otra mujer, y juntas se plantean cómo encontrar esa semilla cuando se trata de una pareja lésbica y no se quiere un donante anónimo. ¿Cómo reaccionarán sus familias? ¿Cómo se enfrentarán a los prejuicios de la gente? ¿Cómo van a encontrar armonía en este “nuevo mundo” para su bebé?. Una comedia tierna, honesta y conmovedora... y una reflexión sobre el amor, la amistad y la familia. |
| Synopsis: | Lucie is 36, she has been partnered for five years and she wants to have a baby. The problem is her partner is another woman, and together they discuss how to obtain that seed when you are part of a lesbian couple and you do not want an anonymous donor. What will their families say? How will they face people’s biases? How will they find harmony in this "new world" for their baby?. A tender, honest and touching comedy… and a reflection about love, friendship and family. |
| Biografía: | Etienne Dhaene empezó trabajando en el cine como segundo o primer asistente de dirección en numerosas películas y en publicidad. Después gano una fuerte experiencia profesional como consejero técnico con Patrice Leconte (Tandem, 1986; Tango, 1992), Jean Poiret, Georges Lautner, Josiane Balasko (Ma Vie est un enfer, 1990). Más tarde, pasó a la televisión y dirigió numerosas series como “Le Lycée”, Premio a la Mejor Serie en Largo en el Festival de Largometrajes de San Tropez en 2001. También ha hecho series policiales como “Groupe Flag”, “PJ”, or “Les Jumeaux”. En 2006 y 2007, Etienne Dhaene dirigió dos temporadas de « Faites le 15 », una serie sobre urgencias médicas, y también dirigió “Le Nouveau Monde”, una tierna y conmovedora historia sobre dos mujeres homosexuales que quieren tener un bebé. |
| Biography: | Etienne Dhaene began working for cinema, as a second and first assistant director on numerous films and ads. Then, he gained a strong professional experience as a technical counsellor to Patrice Leconte (Tandem, 1986; Tango, 1992), to Jean Poiret, Georges Lautner, Josiane Balasko (Ma Vie est un enfer, 1990). Later on, he turned to television and directed numerous serials as “Le Lycée”, Best Serial Feature at St Tropez Feature Festival in 2001, and police serials as “Groupe Flag”, “PJ”, or “Les Jumeaux”. In 2006 and 2007, Etienne Dhaene was the director of two seasons of “Faites le 15”, a serial about medical emergencies, and he also directed “Le Nouveau Monde”, a tender and touching comedy about two homosexual women wanting to have a child. |
